Welcome to the 2025 Investors’ Choice Awards—a celebration of excellence, integrity, and standout performance across the investment trust world. With around 300 companies in the running, we narrowed the field to just 12 categories, using a smart mix of data-driven analysis and expert judgement to spotlight the most impressive performers.

It all started with our quantitative model, which ranked trusts within their peer groups using a rich dataset gathered over five years. This approach allowed us to compare performance across sectors consistently and fairly. From there, a panel of industry experts reviewed the results to curate a shortlist of top contenders for each category.

That shortlist was then handed over to a group of four respected gatekeepers from Janus Henderson Investors, Hawksmoor Investment Management, Cazenove Capital, and Evelyn Partners, and an award winning journalist who selected four finalists per category—our official nominees.

Retail investors played a key role by voting for the winners in each category. Our secure, high-capacity voting system made it easy for thousands of investors to take part—and ensured that every vote counted.

And here’s the exciting part: those who voted across all 14 categories and correctly predict every winner were entered for a chance to win £5,000 towards their equity ISA.

Winners were revealed on Friday 17th October 2025— where investors casted their votes, backed their favourites, and were part of the most trusted investor-led awards of the year.
